To date, our Goal Posts have exclaimed their ancient roots by featuring teams that are no longer UCLA conference rivals, if not football teams that only exist in history today.

A little over the top? Yeah. That’s the hook because this one is going to be short. I have been meaning to write this post for some time but life has repeatedly gotten in the way lately. And so, sometimes I just have to put a few words on a page and in this case let the pictures do most of the talking. After all, the goal is to post.

Much to the expectation of this edition’s authors, this was a close battle – a defensive struggle – that ultimately went to the Webfoots of the Northwest, 6-13.
