In my last year at UCLA, I had some free units to take whatever I wanted. And what a waste it would have been, to not take an acting class, at the greatest place to do it in L.A. And on a whim – I also took a screenwriting class. Same reason, right?
Soon, I was working on Big Man Complex, my first dedicated work of creative expression. I completed BMC during my gap years between UCLA and my time in Tucson, AZ. The first draft was completed in 2009 (UCLA BA July ’08). I am proud to say, it was a semi-finalist in a screenwriting competition that same year. I am sad to say, time has erased any other record of that achievement, so you will just have to take my work for it.
And as time went on, I also wrote No Way Out But Through, which currently exists as my second complete, feature-length screenplay, and is also currently under development as a novel. I think you will love it, when it’s done!
For now, I will post some curated scenes from my movies. As always, I hope you enjoy and appreciate you looking.
